I have been serving Forest Hills United Methodist Church, and the surrounding community, since July of 2006. I am what has been called a “second-career” pastor. Before entering Candler Seminary at Emory University, in 1998, I was a registered nurse for 20+ years. Since being a full-time pastor, it has become clear how the God-given gift of care and nurture transcends the physical and is joined to the spiritual aspects of our lives.
